Data we process
- When you write to us or request a meeting, through the website form or by email: your identity, contact details, the content of your messages and the information you share about your project.
- When you become a client: the information needed to perform the mandate and meet our legal obligations, including identity checks.
- When you visit the website: technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our host for security and proper operation, and anonymous visit statistics measured without cookies.
The contact and meeting request form only collects the information needed to reply to you. The website sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiries and preparing a possible mandate: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest.
- Performing the mandates entrusted to us: performance of a contract.
- Meeting our legal obligations, particularly anti-money laundering and accounting: legal obligation.
- Keeping the website secure and measuring visits anonymously: legitimate interest.
Retention periods
- Contacts and prospects: three years from the last exchange.
- Clients: for the duration of the relationship, then for the applicable statutory limitation periods.
- Identification documents relating to anti-money laundering: five years after the end of the relationship.
- Technical connection data: a limited period set by our host.
Recipients
Your data is intended for the partners and authorised staff of MOREL & ASSOCIÉS. It may be shared, strictly as necessary, with our technical providers (website hosting by Vercel Inc., form delivery by FormSubmit, email by OVH), with notaries, lawyers and banks involved in a transaction with your agreement, and with the authorities where required by law. It is never sold or transferred for marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
Our host, Vercel Inc., and our form delivery service, FormSubmit, are based outside the European Union. Any transfers are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to and restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to fguichard@morelguichard.com. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: access limited to authorised persons, encrypted connection to the website and confidential communications.
